Real Time Tracking User Guide

If Real Time tracking is enabled for your account, follow the steps below to enable:

  1. On the home screen of the app, click to continue on the pop up
  2. When the prompt appears, select “Allow While Using App”
  3. When the second prompt appears, select “Change to Always Allow”

Troubleshooting: If you ran into some issues while turning this on through the mobile app, we can go to the settings page to enable location services.

  1. Go to the Setting Page on your phone
  2. Scroll down until you reach the Onward App, click into this section
  3. Click the Location setting at the top
  4. On the next screen, select “Always”

Notes: Onward cares about user privacy, and when this setting is turned on, we only track location during live routes. Once a route is finished for the day, we immediately stop tracking location. If a route hasn’t been finished by 11pm, we also automatically turn off location tracking to ensure driver’s privacy in the case that they were not able to finish a route.
