If Real Time tracking is enabled for your account, follow the steps below to enable:
- On the home screen of the app, click to continue on the pop up
- When the prompt appears, select “Allow While Using App”
- When the second prompt appears, select “Change to Always Allow”
Troubleshooting: If you ran into some issues while turning this on through the mobile app, we can go to the settings page to enable location services.
- Go to the Setting Page on your phone
- Scroll down until you reach the Onward App, click into this section
- Click the Location setting at the top
- On the next screen, select “Always”
Notes: Onward cares about user privacy, and when this setting is turned on, we only track location during live routes. Once a route is finished for the day, we immediately stop tracking location. If a route hasn’t been finished by 11pm, we also automatically turn off location tracking to ensure driver’s privacy in the case that they were not able to finish a route.
