Unrouted Orders (Premium Users Only)

Finding, editing, and scheduling upcoming orders.

Automatic Order Ingestion

All orders are created automatically in the Onward system via integration, or through CSV upload. These orders can be found in the ‘Unassigned’ section of the Onward system. Note: If an order is missing delivery-critical information such as an address, it will be ingested into the 'Incomplete Orders' tab under OMS. Once the information is completed, it will populate in the 'Unassigned' section.

    1. Navigate to Dispatch > Unassigned

Most integrations send orders to Onward everyday at 7am CST for orders to be completed two days in the future.  For example, orders sent to Onward Wednesday morning for Friday delivery.

Scheduling Orders

  1. Once all of the orders for a given day are accounted for, you can send those to the ‘Plan’ (aka routing) stage of the process.
  2. To send orders to ‘Plan,’ select all of the orders that need to be routed for a given day using the checkbox on the left-hand side of the page.
  3. Once the orders are selected, click the green “Send to Planning” button at the bottom of the page.
  4. After pressing this button, the system will prompt to select the day that these orders will be routed. After selecting, press “Confirm.”
  5. These orders will now be removed from the ‘Unassigned’ page, and will be moved to the ‘Plan’ section of the system to get routed.
