# Creating a Shipper Account

## Create the primary account for a shipper.

1\. Go to Onwarddelivery.com

2\. In the top right hand corner, click "Get Started"

                 *If there is already an account for your location/store/warehouse, you should be [added as a teammate by your admin.](https://learn.onwarddelivery.com/adding-teammates?hsLang=en)*

3\. Select the option that best applies:

**I am a business - Create Account:** For sales, warehouse, operations, or other staff affiliated with companies partnered with Onward.

**I am an individual customer - One Time Shipment:** For customers of Onward's partner companies who are choosing to use Onward for their delivery.

4\. Fill in the basic information needed for set up.

**For a business:**

- Full Name
- Email Address
- Business Name
- Phone Number
- Create Password

**For an individual customer:**

- Click place new order
- Select your state
- Select the store from which you are purchasing
- Select the location from which you are purchasing
- Select item types
- Input item quantity
- Select item descriptions
- Indicate haul away requirements (if applicable)
- Provide delivery contact, address, and location details.
- Provide availability information
- Input payment information
