Take orders for a given day and divide them onto routes.
Establishing a Route
- Navigate to Dispatch > Plan in order to find the ‘Plan’ section of the system.
- Once in the ‘Plan’ page, first click into the “Scheduled Date’ box in the top left corner. Select the date for which you'd like to route.
- Once the proper date has been selected, you will be able to visualize all the orders scheduled for that day. To get more detailed information about the orders for that day, you can click on the 'Orders' button located next to the 'Routes' button at the top left corner of the page. Additionally, you can also hover over the orders on the map to view their details.
- To create a route/truck to which these orders will be assigned, click the green "Add Route" button in the lower left hand corner.
- You can create however many routes you need for that day. For example: If you anticipate three trucks will run that day, click "Add Route" three times. You can delete these routes later if need be.

Assigning Orders to Routes
1. Select orders to assign to route. To assign orders to a route, select the stops plotted on the map by clicking the black location markers, or click the lasso tool on the far right to bulk select orders.
2. Assign orders to a route. Once you have selected the initial batch of orders for a given route, you can assign them to a route using the ‘Assign To’ section in the bottom right corner. Note that you can move orders between routes if needed after this step.
-
- Click the “Select a Route” button, and select one of the routes you’ve created for that day. Then click “Assign.”
- These orders will change to a different color on the map to match with the truck color in the "All Routes" column on the left hand side.
- The selected route now indicates the % full, the amount of cubic feet, weight, and the number of stops on that truck’s route so far.
Repeat this process with the remaining orders and assign them to the other route(s).
3. Move orders between routes. If you wish to move orders to a different route due to uneven estimated length of a route, increased efficiency of moving a stop, or another reason, simply select the order you’d like to move and use the “Assign to” tool again to change that order to a different route.
